Welcome to Microsoft Tech.Ed
Well welcome to day 0, yes, the pre-day for Microsoft Tech.Ed 2008. I’ll be doing bucketloads of blogging and twittering and even video blogging this year. I’ll try and keep things brief and give you all a big of an outline of what is happening here at Tech.Ed 2008 so that those at home don’t feel too left out. This week I’ve as always equipped myself with my trusty MacBook, my 8GB iPhone (and man there are heaps of these things here!), and of course, I haven’t left home with out the Canon Ixus 75, so lots of piccies and blogging goodies to come. Stupid me forgot my copy of iLife so a run up to the Apple Store will be in order later in the day. Today is the SMB day here at Tech.Ed. What does that mean? Microsoft have set aside one full day just for the SMB market with a huge focus on Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 and Essential Business Server 2008. What looks to be a very good day, lots of ask the expert, and some great networking opportunities. With me on the round table this morning is Ben from BKB, Michael from IT Medic, Rodney from ITNow, Peter from Bayside IT and Jason from Ragg Weir. It’s just gone 10am – November 12th is the day…. and Robbie has just taken the stage to announce the pricing. Open Business More later on, spread the good word and make sure you keep checking back. Funky.
